This simple guide will teach how to add unobtrusive client base snow script for Chrome Milk 1.6.2 WordPress theme .

Scott Schiller’s Snow script

• 1. Download Scott Schiller’s snowstorm (build 13_20081215) script.
• 2. Extract the snowstormv13_20081215.zip archive, upload /image/snow to /wpi-istalker-chrome/images/import/ directory.
• 3. Then download the snow.js (modified version) and upload it to /wpi-istalker-chrome/public/scripts/.

  The image is cached inside the public cache directory and serve with proper e-tag (returned visitor will get correct 304 header), the blog heading used a text-to-image CSS replacement and its Search Engine Friendly (SEF). The heading structure will also change base on WP hierarchical section. The blog heading demo can be view at Kaizeku Ban.

Zebra striping list using CSS 3 nth-child pseudo-class selector. This selector class support by WPI Cross browser stylesheet (you wont have to worry about CSS Validation, WPI stylesheet is load base on client browser/ user agent ). At the time being nth-child pseudo selector is supported by Konqueror and Opera browser. For others non supporting browser we require jQuery to work.
